Ayodhya Ram Mandir to be Inaugurated on January 22, 2024

The long-awaited construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, is nearing completion. The temple is expected to be inaugurated on January 22, 2024, by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The date and time of the inauguration were announced on Friday by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, which is overseeing the construction of the temple. The ceremony will take place at 12:20 pm on January 22, 2024, during the auspicious Abhijit Muhurat.

The inauguration will mark the culmination of a decades-long legal and religious dispute over the site of the temple. In 2019, the Supreme Court of India ruled that the land belonged to the Hindu community and ordered the construction of a temple.

The temple is being built in the traditional Nagara style of Indian architecture. It is a five-domed structure with a 235-foot-tall spire. The temple will have a capacity of over 20,000 people.

The inauguration is expected to be a major event, drawing millions of devotees from all over India and the world. The government of Uttar Pradesh has made elaborate security arrangements for the event.

In addition to the inauguration, the temple will also host a ceremony to install the idols of Lord Rama, Sita, and Lakshmana. This ceremony is expected to take place one week before the inauguration.

The Ram Mandir is a symbol of hope and unity for the Hindu community. It is expected to boost tourism in Ayodhya and generate economic opportunities for the region.
